Let them show you

Have you ever looked into a child’s eyes at the exact moment that magic enters? There is a twinkle of light that cannot be missed, and if you are not careful you could tumble right along with that child into the magic in which they are experiencing.

For, you see, magic still lives among us. It can be seen, but only on rare occasions, and only by those who are seeking it out.

A child, however, can find the brilliance of imagination by just the beginning of a whimsical thought, a beautiful flower and especially from thin air. They can see a world that most adults have forgotten ever existed.

Through the eyes of a child all things are possible. There is nothing that cannot be accomplished. Imagination is what gives us super strength, the ability to read minds, the amazing power to fly. How on earth could we ever allow the endless possibilities to dwindle away? Ah, that answer is quite easy. The ever fast approaching years of growing up cannot be held at bay forever, they come barreling down to capture us for their very own with the crushing weight of responsibilities.

Day to day, minute by minute, our imagination begins to lessen, fading quickly into a place where it shall lock itself away until we find the key that will once again open its magic to us.

This key, for those that have grown up, will and can be found through the amazing moments in which a child first sees the magic that still surrounds us all. Yet, only through those childlike times can the land of imagination still come to life completely.

So may your journeys keep you close to such a vessel of unending possibilities. Take heart in knowing that the land of imagination is not lost – it is found.

Nurture a child’s imagination – their dreams, their make-believe. For all things are possible – let them show you.
